Joyce Ribelin Stout

Joyce Ribelin Stout, 76, of Linwood passed away on Wednesday July 7, 2021, at Alston Brook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a period of declining health.

A Celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday July 9, 2021, at Lakeview Baptist Church with the Rev. David Wooten officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Joyce was born in Rowan County on April 5, 1945, to Robert Lee Ribelin and Ellie Louise Ribelin. She was retired as manager of Morningstar Storage Services and was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church where she was an active member, former Sunday school director and held other offices within the church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Lanier Waters; brothers, Donald Ribelin and Bobby Ribelin; and sister Louise Bryant.

Surviving are her sisters, Mildred Rabon of Linwood and Marian Gordon of Lexington; several nieces and nephews; and her son in law, David B. Waters of Linwood.

The family will receive friends at the home of her sister, Marian Gordon who resides at 398 Goldenrod Lane, Lexington, NC 27295.
