Joycie Ree Poole Hughes

Joycie Ree Poole Hughes, 67, of Rockcrusher Road, died Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at Lexington Memorial Hospital, following a serious illness of two weeks. A service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Hughes was born September 6, 1941, in Davidson County, to Cromer Lee Poole and Fannie Mae Vickers Poole. She was formerly employed at Wellington Hall and of the Methodist Faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Cromer Poole. Surviving are her husband, James Clifton Hughes of the home; son, Michael Hughes and wife, Linda of Lexington; grandchildren, Angela Constino and Stephanie Brooks; brother, Jerry Poole and wife, Rose, of Lexington; and a sister, Lynn Cassidy and husband, Abe, of Lexington.
