J.P. Morgan

James “J.P.” Pierpont Morgan, 87, of Lexington passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Morgan was born on February 17, 1933 in Davidson County to Zimmie Lee Morgan and Roxie Snider Morgan. He was a self-employed truck driver for over 50 years and was a loving husband and father whose memory will be cherished forevermore. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Teresa Short Morgan of the home; his two daughters, Jennifer Morgan of Denton and Amanda Morgan of Wilmington; a sister, Iris Martin; and a host of nieces and nephews.
