J.T. "Pete" Stone

J. T. “Pete” Stone, age 71 of Carl Pressley Road, Lexington passed away Monday afternoon (August 1, 2011) at his home. Funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Thursday (August 4, 2011) in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Gary Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in the Greers Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday. Pete was born in Wilkes County, NC June 4, 1940 to Paul Jesse Stone and Ethel Mae Parker Stone. He was retired from Davidson Water as Plant Operator. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Helen Pressley Stone, September 24, 1992, his daughter, Tammy Regina Stone, June 12, 2006 and two brothers, Rex and Robert Stone. He is survived by his son, Jason Stone and wife Lisa of Andersonville, TN; a granddaughter, Erika Stone of Andersonville, TN; two sisters, Elizabeth Bryant and Helen Roope both of North Wilkesboro; and four brothers, Curtis, Harold and Wayne Stone all of North Wilkesboro and Eddie Stone of Yadkinville.
