With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Juanito, who went to be with our Lord on December 16th, 2024 after a tragic car accident. Juanito was a loving and cheerful child, who brought endless joy to everyone who knew him. Although his time with us was brief, his love and endless light will continue to shine in our hearts forever.

He was born in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico on December 29, 2015 and immigrated to the United States with his mom and sister in November 2017. He is survived by his mother, Jesus Minerva Llanes Moore of Lexington, NC; his brother, Jorge Alberto Rivera Llanes of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco,Mexico; his sister, Alejandra Valadez Llanes married to Vichchea Pek of Lexington, NC and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.

The family will have visitation at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Lexington, NC starting at 10:30 am on Friday, December 27th, 2024. A celebration of his life and Catholic mass will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church at 12 pm followed by his burial service at 3:30 pm at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Con un gran dolor anunciamos el inesperado fallecimiento de nuestro amado Juanito, que entro a la presencia de nuestro Señor el 16 de diciembre de 2024 luego de un trágico accidente automovilístico. Juanito era un ser amoroso y alegre que traía un gozo incomparable a todos aquellos que le conocían. Aunque su tiempo con nosotros fue breve, su amor y su luz seguirán brillando en nuestros corazones para siempre.

Nació en Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, México y emigró a los Estados Unidos con su madre y su hermana en noviembre de 2017. Le sobreviven su madre, Jesús Minerva Llanes Moore de Lexington, NC; su hermano, Jorge Alberto Rivera Llanes de Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, México; su hermana, Alejandra Valadez Llanes, casada con Vichchea Pek de Lexington, NC y numerosas tías, tíos y primos que lo amaban infinitamente.

La familia recibirá a amigos y familiares en la Iglesia Católica Nuestra Señora del Rosario en Lexington, NC a partir de las 10:30 de la mañana del viernes 27 de diciembre de 2024. Se llevará a cabo una misa católica de cuerpo presente en la misma iglesia a las 12 pm seguido por el servicio de sepultura a las 3:30 pm en Forest Hill Memorial Park.
