Juanita Tiller Greer

Juanita Greer, 83, of Davidson County, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

A graveside service will take place Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 3:00 PM, at Holloways Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Glenn Gunter officiating.

Juanita was born on January 4, 1941, to the late Thomas Woodson Tiller and Eva Mae Groover Tiller. She worked for many years as the owner and operator of Badin Lake Family Restaurant and possessed joy and passion for cooking. Juanita enjoyed traveling throughout the mountains and vacationing at the beach with her family.

She will always be remembered for the deep love that she had for her family and how they were always first in everything she did. The support and quality time she gave to her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren will continue to be comforting for those she held dear.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her son, Michael Wayne Greer, and daughter-in-law, Mary Jane.

Left to cherish her memory is the love of her life, Wayne Greer to whom she was married 66 years in August, of the home; daughters, Sherri Hightower (Ray), of Lexington, Terri Calloway (Michael), of Lexington, and Patti Kenyon (Brian), of Lexington; grandchildren, Sam Hightower (Glenda), Heather Nayokpuk (Garrett), Bryce Young, Jennifer Manus (Brandon), Matthew White, Travis White, Michelle Bricolo (Mike), and Chris Greer; and great grandchildren, Zachary, Adam, Alyssa, Taylor, Gavin, Haley, Jayden, Kiley, Colin, Owen, Chance, Addison, and Gage.
