Juanita Grubb, 88 of Welcome-Bethesda Road, gained eternal life on July 17, 2014 at the Kate B. Hospice Home.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday at Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Daniel V. Miller officiating. Burial will follow. The famil;y will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Saturday and at other times at the home.
Juanita was the daughter of the late Lester & Veigh Dorsett of Welcome. She was a loving & devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt & Friend. She was a lifelong member of Bethesda Methodist Church in Welcome, NC. She served many roles in the church & was a great lady of faith that shared her love of the Lord with all who knew & loved her. She was an inspiration to her family, whom she shared a very special bond with, & she was so beloved by many.
She is survived by her children Junior Poole wife Shirley, Kathy Barlow & Nancy Wood; loving grandmother to Scotty Barlow, Bengi Barlow and Lori, Michell Weeks husband Landon, Jeffrey Barlow wife Regina & Chris Poole wife Michele & devoted sister to Gayle Grubb husband Jack. She is also the great grandmother to Scottie, Alex, Lindsey, Josie, Lily, Hayley, Noah, Austin, Gracie and Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her beloved first husband & love of her life, Ben Poole & her second husband, Jim Grubb. Also, her sister Charlene Sink & grandson, Shane Brendle.
The family would like to thank the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for their loving & compassionate care. Through them, she was able to have her home going with dignity & comfort, surrounded with family & friends.
The family also wants to thank Dr. Jim Dilley who was beloved by Juanita. We thank you for your time, compassion & never ending kindness.
