Juanita Geraldine Long

Juanita Harris Long, age 81 passed away, Friday, April 21, 2023, at Novant Rowan Hospital surrounded by her family.

A visitation to celebrate her life will be held 6pm until 8pm, Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Road, Winston-Salem, NC.

Mrs. Juanita was born December 15, 1941 in Forsyth County to Edward Lee Dean and Louise Fox Dean. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Juanita is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lawrence JoeDine Long Sr., son Lonnie Dean Long, brother Gurney “Butch” Harris.

Surviving are her son Lawrence Joey Long and his wife Angell of Lexington, sisters, Janice Wood, Judy Pierce as well as her canine companion, Harley.

Memorials may be made to donor’s choice of Hospice or American Cancer Society.
