Judith Marie Ellis

Judith ‘Judy’ Marie Ellis, age 72, of Linwood, NC went to be with our Lord and Savior Sunday, August 11, 2019.

She will long be remembered by all those who knew her.  She was a kind and generous soul, with a great deal of love in her heart.  She showered that gift of love upon her children, family, and friends.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Charles Ellis; mother, Florence Mae Hatfield, and father, Russell Harry.

She is survived by her children, Lori Ann Ellis Thompson of Linwood, NC; Larry Charles Ellis, Jr. and wife, Angela, of Lexington, NC; grandchildren, Corey Brown, Summer Ellis, and Hunter Charles Ellis.  She is also survived by a sister, Evelyn Browning of WVA; brother, Jerry Christian of FL; and many cousins, in-laws, and lifelong friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, August 16, 2019 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Preacher Clyde Akers. Burial will follow at Lakeview Baptist Church Cemetery. There will no public visitation.
