Judith Kimbrell Phillips

Judith Kimbrell Phillips, age 65, passed away Tuesday March 4, 2014 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center after a period of declining health. A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Rev. G Ray Emerson. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Davison Funeral Home and other times at her mother’s home on Western Blvd. Judy was born April 6, 1948 in Lexington, to James David Kimbrell and Opal Myers Kimbrell. She was retired from Davidson County Social Services and had previously worked for the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office. She was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband Robert Maxwell Phillips of the home; daughter, Christina Phillips of the home; her mother of Lexington, and numerous close and loving relatives and her special cat Major Tom.
