Judy Burkhart

Judy Daniels Burkhart, 56, of Koontz Road, died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, at her home. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Second United Church of Christ by the Rev. Dr. Joe D. Coltrane. Mrs. Burkhart was born Aug. 25, 1952, in Davidson County to R.G. Daniels and Iva Everhart Daniels. She retired from Lexington Motor Co. and was a member of Second Reformed United Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Steven Scott Burkhart of the home; her son, Scott Daniel Burkhart and his wife, Roxanna, of Wallburg; her daughter, Wendy Burkhart Browne and husband, Todd, of Wallburg; her parents of Lexington; her brother, David Daniels and his wife, Patty, of Lexington; her sister, Pat Jarvis and her husband, Bob, of Lexington; and her grandchildren, Caleb Burkhart, Carter Burkhart, Mason Browne and Jake Browne, all of Wallburg. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Tuesday prior to the memorial service in the church parlor. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, P.O. Box 1941, Lexington, NC 27293.
