Judy Diane Fungaroli, passed away on December 5, 2025, in Lexington, North Carolina. She was born on January 16, 1947. Judy lived a life filled with compassion, dedication and a deep love for her family.
Judy grew up in Forsyth County and was one of three daughters of Paul and Jacqueline Tillotson Lawson. Her caring and helpful nature shone through in all aspects of her life. She was a graduate of Salem College, and received her Master's degree in counseling at Wake Forest University in Winston Salem. Judy dedicated her professional life to helping others as a licensed Clinical Therapist, working for the State of North Carolina. Her work, and commitment to her profession left a lasting impact on countless individuals. Judy was also a member at Parkway United Church of Christ, finding comfort, and community in her faith.
Family was the cornerstone of Judy's world, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her presence brought joy to every gathering. Judy was always interested in what her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were doing. She found happiness in the simple things, especially her two dogs. Judy enjoyed being outdoors, tending to her flowers, and taking walks finding solace, and peace in nature.
Along with her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her daughter, Amber Kristin Peeples, grandson Zachary Peeples, great grandson Oakley Peeples, and sisters Janet and Joy Lawson.
Judy is survived by her sons, Heath Peeples and Aaron Foley; grandchildren, Joshua Peeples, Molley Peeples, and Julian Peeples. Her legacy continues through her seven great-grandchildren, who will carry her memory forward.
A visitation for family and friends to remember Judy will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 1:00pm until 2:50pm at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree, with a service of committal held at 3:00pm in the Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel.
