Judy Everhart Goins

Judy Everhart Goins, 64, of Devonshire Drive, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at Alston Brook Nursing Center, following a period of declining health. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dewey Everhart Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2013, at the funeral home. Mrs. Goins was born September 7, 1948, in Davidson County, to Paul Everhart and Inez “Bob” Jones Everhart. She was a buyer for National Wholesale and a member of First Wesleyan Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Vennie Arnold Goins, who died January 13, 2013; and a brother, Eddie Everhart. Surviving are daughters, April Goins and fiancé, Willie Hepler and Ashley Goins, both of Lexington; grandson, Zebulon Allen; and special friends, Ailica, Amy, Zachary, Daniel and Jacob.
