Judy Marie Wright Owens

Judy Marie Wright Owens, 61, of Trailer Drive, died Wednesday, January 06, 2010, at her home following a nine month illness. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2010, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Purdue officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Owens was born November 18, 1948, in Mercer County, W.Va., to Elmo Wright Sr. and China Hall Wright. She was of the Baptist faith and manager of Lexington Town Estates and U Store It. Surviving are her daughter, Pamela Watson of Lexington; three grandchildren, Brandi Brooks of Winston-Salem, Justin Edwards and Tiffany Edwards, both of Lexington; three great-grandchildren, Natalie Abbott, Zachary Abbott, both of Lexington, and Tristan Rissew of Winston-Salem; a brother, Elmo Wright Jr. and wife, Judy, of W. Va.; special cousin Christine Saddler and husband, Stephen, of Lexington; and a special friend, Kim Duncan. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2010, at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at 20 Trailer Drive.
