Judy Wood Sherrill

Judy Wood Sherrill age 67, of Swing Dairy Road, passed away Thursday afternoon at Lexington Medical Center after a sudden illness.   Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.  Daniel Pittman officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Sunday night and at other times at the home of her daughter, Becky Everhart, 212 Oakdale Street, Lexington.   Judy was born in Davidson County, December 21, 1946 to Troy Wilson and Peggy Baker Wood. She was a retired employee of Klopman Mills and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Don Wood.   Judy is survived by her daughters, Gail Miller (Kerry) and Becky Everhart all of Lexington; son, Jimmy Everhart (Kathryn) of Lexington; grandchildren, Anna Everhart, Brandy Eller and Brad Everhart; brother, Danny Wood (Tara) of Lexington; nieces, nephews and cousins; and her special canine companion “Penny”.   The family would like to thank all the special friends at Kindron Korner.   Online Condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
