Judy Rimer Waddell

Judy Rimer Waddell, 79, a resident of Winston-Salem, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022. Judy was born in Salisbury on July 29, 1942 to the late Willie James and Martha Bell Rimer. She worked for Novant Health as an accountant for many years. Judy was a member of Midway United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 10, 2022 in Midway United Methodist Church with Rev. Rick LeBaube and Amanda Thomas officiating. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends Saturday evening from 6-8 PM in the CFC at the church. Memorials may be made to the “Ramp It Up” fund at Midway United Methodist Church; 9795 Old Highway 52, Lexington, NC 27295. Judy is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Charles Thomas Waddell, of the home; children, Sheryl Waddell Whicker (Larry) and Brent Austin Waddell (Lauri); grandchildren, Courtney Whicker Berry (Chris), Brady Thomas Whicker, Austin James Waddell (Rachel), Lydia Erin Waddell, and Benjamin Charles Waddell; great-grandchild, Alexandra Berry; siblings, Brenda R. Thompson, Linda R. Adams, and Sybil R. Riddle.
