Julie Annette Speer Byerly age 38 passed away at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center on Sunday morning, July 17, 2011. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with the Rev. George Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday, July 19 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree. Julie was born in Forsyth County on October 25, 1972 to Jimmy Speer and Joyce Ashby Billings. She was preceded in death by her father. Surviving are her husband Benjamin B. Byerly of the home; her mother of Winston-Salem; two sons, Nicholas Tyler Booe and Dalton K. Byerly also of the home; two sisters, Tammy Speer Marion and husband Richard of Clemmons and Wendy Speer Levan and husband Rick of Advance. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to donor’s choice. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
