June Kinney

Mrs. Eleanor June Mims Kinney, 92, of Old Linwood Rd, died Saturday, November 6 at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm Thursday, November 11 at First Lutheran Church, where she was a member, by the Rev. Matthew Miller.

Mrs. Kinney was born August 13, 1929 in Jacksonville, FL to John Allan Mims and Ruth Edwards Mims. She was a realtor for many years with Kinney Realty and later retired from Leonard-Craver Realty. She loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed the beach and fishing. Her husband, Adrian Roby Kinney, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughters, Lillian Kinney Ritz and Janet Kinney Osborne, both of Lexington; her son, Donald Adrian Kinney of Lexington; five grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren.
