Karen Ann Fields Anderson, 77, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2026. She was born on December 10, 1948, in Forsyth County, North Carolina, to the late Grover Franklin Fields and Linda Phillips Fields.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, September 11, 2026, at Linwood Baptist Church, with Rev. Bruce Freeman officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Friday one hour prior to the funeral service, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the church.
Karen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She worked for many years in data processing with Wachovia. She was a faithful member of Linwood Baptist Church and loved the Lord deeply. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she found great joy in sharing her love with her family.
Karen especially cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She treasured every moment spent with them and took great pride in watching them grow. Her loving and caring nature, warm heart, and devotion to her family will be remembered and treasured by all who knew her.
Along with her parents, Karen is preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Lee Beeding; and sister, Bonnie Sue Gardner.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Larry Anderson; daughters, Tiffany (Greg) and Kim (Craig); brother Glenn Fields (Cindy); sister, Rita (Mike) Cygan; grandchildren, Ashley (Brent), Chase (Maddie), Carson (Rye), Camden, Autumn, Chance, Katie (Joe), Brianna, and Courtney; and great-grandchildren, Ella Leona, Graham, Evan, and Ada.
Karen also leaves behind her beloved fur-babies, Pete and Poppy, who brought her much happiness and companionship.
Karen's greatest legacy will be the love she gave so freely to her family and the faith she carried throughout her life. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by those who were blessed to know her.
