Karen Annette Martin

Karen Annette Crews Martin, born to Raeford and Neil Crews in Guilford County, North Carolina, on October 22, 1950, passed away on October 2, 2023. She was predeceased by her parents and her beloved son, David Lee Martin.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Lawrence Martin, who was by her side at the home they shared. Karen leaves behind a cherished daughter, Melissa Annette Neal and husband Vincent, and a brother, Michael Ray Crews, and his wife, Jean. She also leaves behind a legacy of love through her three grandchildren, Megan Ray Martin (Justin), Mahogany Jeannette Martin Floyd (Dustin), and Marcell Lawrence Neal, as well as six great-grandchildren who will forever cherish her memory.

Karen dedicated her life to the care of others as a nurse at Baptist Hospital. Her compassion and dedication to her profession touched the lives of countless patients and their families.

Karen Annette Crews Martin loved her music, flowers, cooking delicious meals for her family, and feeding her hummingbirds. She will be remembered for her kindness, her loving spirit, and the lasting impact she had on the lives she touched. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
