Kari Underwood Barnes

Kari Underwood Barnes, age 28, of S. NC Highway 150, Lexington passed away Wednesday (10-10-2012) at Wake Forest Baptist Health, from injuries received in an automobile accident. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday (10-15-2012) in the Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel, with Rev. Norman Mayhan officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Sunday. Kari was born June 8, 1984 in Summers County, West Virginia to Kenneth Ray Underwood, Sr. and Karolyn Jean Harvey Underwood. She was a mom to her children and a student at Davidson County Community College. Surviving are her husband, Donnie L. Barnes of Winston Salem; daughter, Alexa Barnes of the home; son, Kaleb Underwood of the home; parents, Karolyn Jean Harvey Underwood of Lexington; father, Kenneth Ray Underwood, Sr. of Wallburg; sister, Kristi Darr of High Point; brothers, Kenneth R. Underwood, Jr. of Welcome and Kurtis Underwood of Asheville; six nieces and nephews. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
