Karol Lee Rush

Karol Lee Rush, 68, of Northwind Drive, died Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 19, 2006, at her home. Mrs. Rush was born May 15, 1938, in Logan, W. Va., to Paris Bartley and Ruth White. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her brother, Robert W. Smith. Surviving are her husband, Kenneth Lee Rush of the home; a son, David Rush and his wife Tammy of Lexington; a daughter, Pamela Lynne Rush of Winston-Salem; a grandson, Kenyon Rush and his wife Keisha of Lexington; a brother, James Calvin Smith of West Virginia; two sisters, Jane Smith Geisler and her husband Donald of Kentucky, and Deloris Smith Hayner and her husband Joe of Ohio. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Parklawn Memorial Garden Mausoleum Chapel, with Pastor Ken Harris officiating. Entombment will follow. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel and at other times at the home.
