Katarzyna Drop

Katarzyna Zuzanna Kosatka Drop died on September 26, 2023, in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Kasia was born on April 22, 1974, in  Polaniec, Poland to her loving parents, Stanislaw and Zofia Kosatka. She immigrated to the United States with her family including her beloved sister, Gosia, in 1990, settling in New York where she met the love of her life, her husband Joseph, and had their two beautiful children, Ashley and Joshua.

Kasia was a caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She worked incredibly hard in everything she did, inspiring those around her to always go above and beyond. She loved spending time with family, listening to her favorite Polish music, and sitting down with a good cup of ice.

Furthermore, she is survived by her godfather, Krzysztof, and godmother, Maria. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews; Ryan, Nicole, Nicholas, and Natalia, as well as her great-nephew, Levi.

Kasia will be honored at Saint Leo’s Catholic Church on Saturday, September 30th, 2023 at 10 a.m. The mass will be followed by visiting hours and, later, refreshments.
