Katherine Goodman Johnson

Katherine Goodman Johnson, age 72 or Statesville Road, North Wilkesboro passed away Thursday afternoon at Forsyth Medical Center. Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday November 10, 2015 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Akers officiating and Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 until 7:00 Monday night. Katherine was born in Rowan County March 17, 1943 to Henry and Velma Deal Goodman. She was a retired manager of Circle K Convenience Store. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Norman Edward Jordan. Surviving are her husband, Charlie C. Johnson of the home; sons, Michael Wayne Jordan (Robin) of Salisbury, Arnold Dale Kearns (Amy) of Lexington; grandchildren, Travis Lee Jordan (Kelly) and Tameka Danielle Faust (Michael); great-grandson, Nathaniel Jordan; sister, Linda Goodman of Salisbury; brothers, Ricky Goodman of China Grove, Randall “Buck” Goodman and Rodney Goodman both of Salisbury.
