Katherine Pope Myers

Katherine Anne Pope Myers passed away Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Hinkle Hospice House after a long hard battle with breast cancer.

Kathy was born in Lexington, NC on November 21, 1948, to Otis Pope and Ellen Katherine Everhart Pope, both now deceased.

She was a wonderful cook, homemaker, Mother and, above all, a wonderful wife. She retired from Young-Hinkle Plant 5 where she was secretary to the Plant Manager. She had several beautiful years of retirement until cancer took over her body.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Jeff, her son, Lee Parks (Sonja), daughter Jenni Isaacs (Mike), Chris and Sara Myers, grandchildren Jacob and Noah Isaacs, Austin and Aiden Parks and many cousins and friends.

In honoring one of her last wishes, there will be no memorial services or public involvement. The family will grieve in private. We thank the staff and especially the nurses and CNAs at Hinkle Hospice House for their patience with her family asking questions. They took excellent care of our Kathy in her last days, and we will be forever grateful to them.

Kathy loved all animals, domestic and wild. We ask that any donations be directed towards any animal rescue organization or Hospice of Davidson County.
