Kathleen Hine Everhart age 90 passed away Tuesday evening at Britthaven of Davidson. She was born June 1, 1919 in Forsyth County, to Charlie and Hattie Crater Hine. She was a seamstress for Singer sewing at Thruway and also was an instructor in crochet and knitting at Davidson County Community College. She was married for 65 years to Paul Wilburne Everhart who died on May 20 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Mary Lash and Faith Hill; and two brothers Dallas Hine and infant Roy Hine.
Funeral service will be held 11:00a.m Friday Feb 12 at Midway United Methodist Church where she was a member, conducted by Rev. John Woods with burial to follow in Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Surviving are one son, Winfred Everhart and wife Brenda of King; two daughters, Carol Warden and husband Larry of Midway, and Julia Ludwick and husband Ed of Clemmons ; two sisters, Alta Hine Everhart and husband Norman and Dorothy Hine Hill all of Lexington. Six grandchildren, Teresa Neal and husband Ron, Sharon Sink and husband Richard, Rodney Everhart and wife Shirley, Tammy Everhart, Daniel Warden and David Warden and wife Elyshia; two great-grandchildren, Darrell Boles and wife Renee and Laura Boyd and husband Brad; one great-great-grandchild Kendall Boles; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday Feb 11 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel and other times the family will be at the home of her daughter Carol at 3198 Clodfelter Road.
