Kathleen Michael

Kathleen Kesler Michael 95, formerly of Rockway Drive, died Wednesday, May 7 at Alston Brook of Lexington. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Friday at Paul’s Chapel United Church of Christ by the Rev. Aaron Long. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Michael was born August 31, 1918 in Davidson County to Dock Roland Kesler and Cynthia Elizabeth Wilson Kesler. She was a former employee of the NC Finishing Company and later, Dollar General. She was a member of Paul’s Chapel United Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her husband, James Calvin Michael; her brothers, Paul Kesler and Dock Kesler, Jr; and her sister, Iris Kesler Spann Grice. She is survived by her brother, Harold Kesler of Churchland, and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Paul’s Chapel UCC, 2791 W. Center Street Ext., Lexington NC 27292.
