Kathleen Dawn Penkava, 69, of Lexington, passed away Friday, January 9, 2026, at Davidson Health and Rehab in Lexington.

No formal services will be held.

Born March 4, 1956, in Davidson County, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Frank Louis Penkava and Grace Bean Penkava. She was formerly employed with Dixie Furniture in Lexington, where she worked for many years before retiring.

She is survived by her son, John Penkava, and her sister, Sharon Church.
