Kathleen Sneed Young

Kathleen Lucille Sneed Young, 58, of Ermine Street, died Thursday, October 11, 2007, at her home after several years of declining health. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Little River United Methodist Church in Mt. Gilead. Mrs. Young was born June 1, 1949, in Montgomery County, to Lonnie Washington Sneed and Bobbie Jean Killian Harrelson. Surviving are her daughters, Shanda Young of Randleman, and Terri Young of Greensboro; two grandchildren: C.J. Deal and Chase Deal; her brother, Wayne Sneed of Linwood; her sisters, Donna McClain of Jacksonville, Fla., Debbie Harrelson of Lexington, and Linda Harrelson of Arkansas; her nephews, David Wayne Harrelson and Jason Sneed, both of Lexington; and her best friend, Brenda Franklin Nunley of Alabama The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.
