Kathryn Tysinger Davis

Mrs. Kathryn Tysinger Davis, 77, of Giles Road, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, April 26, 2024.

A funeral service will be held at 3pm Sunday, April 28 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, where she was a member, by the Rev. Angela Powell. Burial will follow at Sandy Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Davis was born January 25, 1947 in Davidson County to Dewey Tysinger and Reva Hilliard Tysinger. She was the former owner/operator of Tots of Tyro Childcare. Her brother, Kenneth Tysinger, and her sister, Mary Grimmett, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, J.D. Davis of the home; her sons, Tim Davis (Melony) of Gilbert, SC, and Tony Davis (Marie) of Charlotte; her brother, Ralph Tysinger of Lexington; her grandchildren, Hannah Durham, Hayden Davis, Hailey Davis, Jessica Davis, and Noah Davis; and her beloved companion, Cuddles.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to St Lukes Lutheran Church, Cemetery Fund or Building Fund, 4299 S. NC Hwy 150, Lexington NC 27295.
