Kathryn Fortner Johnson

Kathryn Fortner Johnson, age 76 of Vineyard Lane Lexington passed away Saturday, May 30 2020 at her home.

No services are planned.

Kathryn was born in Stanly County, North Carolina August 9, 1943 to Franklin Alexander Fortner and Maggie Rebecca Goforth Fortner. She was a former manager and owner of a Staffing Company and for many years was a professional singer. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Mike Morphis; a sister Becky Snider and brothers, Franklin Alexander Fortner, Jr. and Dewey Avan Fortner.

Surviving are her husband, Richard A. Johnson of the home; daughter, Jill Nichols of Lexington; granddaughter, Abby Nichols; sisters, Carolyn Koonts of Linwood, Margaret Ward and Colleen Stafford both of Lexington; brother, Luke Fortner of Memphis, TN. And numerous nieces and nephews.
