Kathryn Clark Stuby

Kathryn C. Stuby, 88, of Reidsville, NC formerly of Lexington, passed away January 6, 2024, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, surrounded by her loving family.

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Forest Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Lexington, with Pastor Heath Lloyd officiating.

Kathryn was born December 13, 1935, in Union County, to Samuel Hubert Clark and Mary Kathryn Shannon Clark. She was the family historian, the keeper of the dates and secrets. She was also known to be a Facebook and internet detective finding old friends and classmates or even old boyfriends. She loved to encourage the sick and elderly by calling and sending cards. She had a soft spot in her heart for all animals and will be missed terribly by her favorite felines, Sunny and Sissy.  Kathryn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who will be missed by all. In addition to her parents. She is preceded in death by her husband, Terrence “Terry” Kent Stuby, two grandchildren, Shannon Parks Talbert and Will Parks.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Debbie Joyce (Tom), of Reidsville, Kathy Phillips (Mike), of Florida, brother, Sam Clark (Diane) of Maryland, grandchildren, Jeremy Phillips (McKensy), Whitney Phillips, four great grandchildren, nephew, John Clark, nieces, Caroline Clark, Samantha Clark, and her special friends & Caregivers, Bernice Welch and Angie Wood.
