Kathy Burkhart

Martha Katherine Burkhart, 53, of Lexington, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020, at Lake Norman Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 3, 2020, at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will see friends following the graveside service at the cemetery.

Kathy was born on February 2, 1967, in Davidson County to Paul Everette Burkhart and Martha Elise Black Burkhart.  Her parents preceded her in death. She loved her dog, Bandit and anything purple. Her girlfriends at the group home in Greensboro and her family always brought a smile to her when they visited.

Surviving are her brothers, Steven Scott Burkhart and Russell Paul Burkhart (Trish) all of Lexington. Her sisters, Anne Burkhart Beavers (Bob) of Lexington and Sarah Burkhart Tupper (Tim) of Florida. Also Surviving are many nieces, nephews, and cousins who were very special to her.
