Katie Lee Gallimore Shields

Katie Lee Gallimore Shields, 85, died Sunday August 17, at the Brian Center of Lexington where she was a resident. Mrs. Shields was born December 6, 1922 in Guilford County North Carolina, to Charles Gallimore and Ethel Mae Morris Gallimore. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Thursday August 21, 2008 at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Father Al Gondek officiating. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Fred S. Ritter and her second husband Mark W. Shields two sisters, Lois Page and Evadene Heitman and one brother Paul Gallimore. Surviving are a son Ronald Ritter of Lexington; a daughter Debra Kay Ronca and husband Mike of Florida; a sister Earline Owens and husband Clarence; 2 grandsons, Robert Ronca and Michael Ronca and 3 Great granddaughters and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel and at other times at the home on Fairview Drive
