Kay Byron Hedrick 76 of Old Hwy 52 passed away early Thursday morning, April 14, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Midway United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Barry Lemons and Rev. David Hedrick officiating. Kay was born in Guilford County May 23, 1939 to Fred Nathaniel Hedrick and Kathleen Flora Teague Hedrick. He was owner of Hedrick’s Amoco Service Station and was a member of Midway United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife Joan Stanley Hedrick of the home; sons, Byron Hedrick (Lynne) of Winston-Salem, Mark Hedrick (Jennifer) of Utah; a daughter, Ramona Hedrick of Charlotte; sister, Sylvia Venable (Don) of Weaverville, NC; grandchildren, Stephen, Jacob, Zach, Parker, Mitchell, Ashton, Katie and Georgia.
