Kay Frances Hodge

Kay Frances Hodge, age 78 of Arrington Drive Lexington passed away peacefully Saturday night at Hinkle Hospice House surrounded by her loving family. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at the home on Arrington Drive. Kay was born in Davidson County October 22, 1939 to Kathleen Leonard Weaver. Kay was a loving mother, grandmother and a devoted friend. She had a keen sense of humor and had a generous and loving heart. She was a former employee of Orkin Exterminating, a member of Arrington Heights Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother and her devoted husband Billy Ray Hodge. Surviving are her loving daughters, Becky Loflin (Steve) of North Myrtle Beach, SC, Kelly Bennett (David) of Winston Salem; grandchildren, Tommy Smith, Jennifer Lohr (Dallas), Zackary Berrier, Whitney Lohr and Kara Lohr; great-grandson, Camden Swing; sister, Barbara Callicutt (Robert) of Lexington; nieces, Jackie Helton (Artie), Stephanie Garner (Page); great nephews, Lucas, Landon and Cash and her special canine companion, Teddy.
