Kay Hensdale Wall

Kay Hensdale Wall passed away on April 29, 2024, at the age of 76.

A visitation will be held at Davidson Funeral Home at 858 Hickory Tree Road Winston Salem on May 18th from 5-7 pm.

Kay was born August 17,1947 to Andrew Thomas and Novilla Morton Hensdale.  She married William “Dean” Wall on January 1, 1967.  Kay was proceeded in death by her parents Andrew and Novilla Hensdale, her husband of 47 years Dean Wall, and her brother Ronald Thomas Hensdale.

Surviving are her two sons William Thomas (Christy) and Jerry (Kristi); 5 grandchildren Bradley (Leslie), Brittany Hutson (Kaelan), Madison, Ayden, and Kaylin wall; two great grandchildren Vivienne and Hartford Wall; Special friends Jewel Smith, Marianne & Charlie Shuler, and Trish Hutchins.

Kay worked for AT&T for 33 years and 10 years with Winston Salem Fire Department.  She was a Sunday school teacher and worked with the youth at her church.  The last 3 years Kay helped watch over her two great grandchildren Vivienne and Hartford.  Most of all she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, memaw and great memaw.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to donor’s choice in her memory.
