Kaye Allen Moore

Kaye Allen Moore, 79, went to be with the Lord on December 17, 2025.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Tyro Methodist Church with Pastor Randy Foster and Rev. Daniel Hosler. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.

Kaye was born March 14, 1946, in Davie County to Harrison Odell and Etta Walser Allen. She was employed at Buddy’s Hair Shack for many years. Kaye was a long-time member of Tyro Methodist Church, where she loved to serve the Lord. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Wilbur Henry Moore; her sister, Louise Snelson, and her grandchild, Zachary Hosler and great-grandchild, Emery Cassavaugh.

Left to cherish her memories are her step-children, Scott Moore, wife Jessica and Tammy Hosler, husband, Danny; twin sister Faye Trantham, who held a very special place in Kaye’s heart, and Faye’s husband, Ronald; brother, Fletcher Allen, wife, Jackie; grandchildren, Maleah Queen, husband, Chris, and Kayly Cassavaugh, husband, Ethan; and three great-grandchildren, Kynsleigh Queen, Levi Cassavaugh, and Josiah Cassavaugh; nephew, Steve Allen, his wife, Kim; niece, Melissa, husband, John; and a host of great nephews and nieces. A special thank you to nephews, David and Darren Trantham, and their wives; Dawn and Jennifer Trantham.
