Kaye Smith-Orman

Kaye Smith-Orman, 78, of Lexington, died Monday, December 16, at Hinkle Hospice House.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Kaye was born November 26, 1946 in Davidson County to Edward L. “Roy” Smith and Dollie Leonard Smith.  She was a graduate of University of Southern California and retired from The Dispatch of Lexington.  She had served on the Board of Directors of the Life Center of Davidson County. Her parents, and her sister, Lillian Smith, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, John R. Orman, Jr. of Lexington; and her step-son, Seth Barrett Orman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to the Life Center of Davidson County, 601 W. Center, St, Lexington NC 27292.
