Kayron Lynn Story Hunter, 56, of Sam Sharpe Road, died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006, at her home after a serious illness of two months and declining health of several years.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Ms. Hunter was born in Davidson County on Aug. 2, 1950, to Frutchey Lee Story and June Brooks Story. She was a former employee of Davidson County Community College and a Baptist. She had a special love for her great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. We will always remember her love for dancing and singing karaoke.
Surviving are two sons, Lee Hunter and his wife, Angela, and Todd Hunter, all of Lexington; six grandchildren, Nicole Hunter, Steven Hunter Jr., Isaiah Hunter, Seth Hunter, Cody Watts and Phillip Calloway; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Calloway and Zoey Calloway; one brother, Ronald Story and his wife, Nancy, of Ramseur; one sister, Becky Hartley and her husband, Donald, of Lexington; and special nephews Jared Story and his wife, Tabitha, and John Story and his wife, Mandy, all of Lexington, and Paul Story, David Story and Clint Doss, all of Ramseur.
