Keith Barker

Riley Keith Barker, 56, of Muirfield Drive, died Sunday, October 25, 2015, at his home. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2015, at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home prior to the service from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. and other times at the home. Mr. Barker was born May 1, 1959, in Davidson County, to Nevil Riley Barker and Nancy Caroll Swing Barker. He was attending Kaplan University working toward his bachelor’s Degree where he had earned the honor of being on the President’s List. Prior to pursuing his degree he was an engineer at Tyco Electronics for 28 years. Surviving are his mother, Nancy Caroll Barker of Lexington; his father, Nevil Riley Barker and his wife Jane of Lexington; a son, Brian Barker of Lexington; daughter, Mandy Barker and husband Jerry Towler of the home; grandchild, Riley Barker; sisters, Patricia Greene and husband Larry and Laura Shupe and husband Jimmy all of Lexington; and niece, Melissa Greene of Lexington.
