Keith Eugene Murphy

Keith Eugene Murphy, 48, of Sunset Ridge Lane, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, at Lexington Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Coggins Memorial Baptist Church, where he was a member, by the Rev. David Shaffer and the Rev. David Robinson. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Murphy was born Feb. 20, 1959, in Charlotte County, Fla., to Mary Cleo Morris and Gene Gray Murphy. He was a self-employed brick mason with Murphy's Masonry and a landscaper with All Seasons. He was preceded in death by a sister, Deanna Lynn Murphy. Surviving are his mother of Lexington; his father of Waynesboro, Va.; sisters Lorri DeShannon Murphy Nazemetz of Cornelius and Carla Shannon Morris of Charlotte; and a brother, Carlton Conway Morris II of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at 1807 W. Center St. Ext. Memorials may be made to Davidson County Special Olympics, P.O.
