Kelli Jeanne Tolle, 64, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on June 30, 1961, in Washington, D.C., Kelli was the beloved daughter of Dyrk J. Couser and the late Carolyn L. Couser. She lived a life marked by compassion, quiet strength, and deep devotion to her family and faith.
Kelli was an avid reader with a particular love for mystery and crime novels. She found joy in the works of James Patterson and could often be found curled up with a good book, losing herself in a gripping story. A devoted homemaker, she poured her heart into raising her two children, Cassandra and Matthew, whom she adored above all else. Kelli also worked for several years at Avon, where her warmth and kindness touched many.
Her faith was central to her life. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kelli formed lasting friendships and embraced a church family that brought her much joy and support. She drew strength from her beliefs and, in turn, inspired those around her through her unwavering resilience and courage in the face of numerous health challenges.
Kelli was a woman of remarkable perseverance, having overcome many medical battles with grace and determination. Her strength was a quiet but powerful example to all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her loving mother, Carolyn Louise Couser, and her brother-in-law, Ronald Lang.
Kelli is survived by her devoted husband, Anthony M. Tolle; her cherished children, Cassandra E. Tolle and Matthew M. Tolle; her father, Dyrk J. Couser; her brother, Brendan S. Couser (Sherry); her sisters, Marcie L. Crymes (Bryan) and Valri D. Acosta (John); 15 nieces and nephews; 13 great-nieces and nephews; and her loving parents-in-law, W. Bruce Tolle and Sandra H. Tolle.
A visitation to honor Kelli’s life will be held from 6-8 pm Tuesday, October 14th, 2025, at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington, located at 301 N. Main Street, Lexington, NC 27292. An interment will take place in her father’s hometown in Pennsylvania.
Kelli Jeanne Tolle’s legacy of love, quiet faith, and unwavering strength will remain in the hearts of those she touched. She will be deeply missed, but lovingly remembered.
