Kelly Cooper

Lloyd Kelly Cooper, 41, of Summerville Church Road, died Monday, June 9, 2008, at his home. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel by the Rev. Louie Pate and the Rev. Robert Tews with burial to follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Cooper was born Nov. 11, 1966, in Catawba County to Lloyd and Betty Briggs Cooper. He was employed at Tri-Co Electric as an electrician. Surviving are his parents, Lloyd and Betty Briggs Cooper of Parks Road, Lexington; one brother, Tracey Cooper and his wife, Tina, and one sister, Diane Young and her husband, Larry, all of Lexington; special niece and nephew Melanie Young and Cameron Cooper, both of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the home of his parents.
