Kelly Lee Trantham, 63, passed away at his home surrounded by his children on Friday, February 28, 2025.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.

Kelly was born in Davidson County on January 23, 1962, to the late Arthur Lee Trantham and Joretta Lovell Trantham. He was a devoted father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, always cherishing time spent with his family. Kelly had a kind heart, a quiet strength, and a deep love for those closest to him. He had a special talent for gardening and took great pride in growing fruits and vegetables, sharing the fruits of his labor with family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Erica Lynn Trantham and Cathy Denise Trantham.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving children, Brandi Lubarsky (Jeromy) and Joshua Trantham; his brother, Mike Trantham (Tonya); his sister, Tammie Wright (Craig); six grandchildren, Kaylee Hancock (Chance), Allyson Lubarsky, Brooklin Conrad, Dakota Trantham, Harley Trantham, and Bayleigh Trantham; his great-granddaughter, Amelia Hancock, with another great-grandchild on the way; a close family friend, Melissa East; and his beloved K9 companion, Lucky.

Kelly’s family finds comfort in knowing his love will continue to live on in their hearts.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Stoner Thomas School, 215 County School Rd., Lexington, NC 27292.
