Kenneth Edward Amos, 68, of Garland Drive, Lexington, died Monday, July 23, 2012, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
A graveside service with military honors will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Floral Gardens in High Point, with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
Mr. Amos was born January 25, 1944, in Guilford County, to John M. Amos and Pauline Ward Amos. He served in the U.S. Navy and was formerly employed at PPG as a Forming Operator. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving are his daughter, Rebecca Bowles and husband Kenny of Mt. Pleasant; sons, Kevin E. Amos of Charlotte, Wesley Surratt and Bobby Surratt, both of Lexington; and four grandchildren.
