Kenneth Durjachan Bacchus

Kenneth Durjachan Bacchus, 82, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Hinkle Hospice House.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 4:00 PM in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, Lexington.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 PM, at the funeral home, prior to the service.

Kenneth was born on February 19, 1940, in Guyana, to the late James Seecharan and Gladys Bacchus. He retired from Tube-Tech, in Linwood, as a Research and Development engineer. Kenneth enjoyed traveling, watching movies, and visiting with his family. Above all he adored his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and was known to do anything for them. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Emmanuel Bacchus of Lexington, and Mark Bacchus of Lexington; two daughters, Debra Henderson and husband, Mike, of Lexington, and Nikki Charles; multiple brothers and sisters from the Seecharan family and the Bacchus family, five grandchildren, Ronaldo Bacchus and wife Sokkoeurn, David Baldie, Alana Baldie, Robin Bacchus, and Selena Henderson; seven great grandchildren, Dylan, Jonah Baldie, Matt, and Roxanna Perez, and Ian, Kai, and Jaden Bacchus; and many extended family and friends.
