Kenneth Andrew Beck, 58 of Wildlife Circle, Lexington died Friday October 31, 2008 at 4:30 PM in Forsyth Medical Center after an illness of 3 months. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Davidson Funeral Home with the Dr. Gary Gibson officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Mr. Beck was born in Pennsylvania on October 3, 1950 to William Charles Beck and Henrietta George Beck. He was owner and operator of Becks Wholesale Bait for 30 years and a lifetime member of St. Timothy’s United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Davidson County Community College. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bill Beck.
Surviving are his wife, Frances Flack Beck of the home; son, Bradley Beck of the home and daughter Crystal Beck Strickland and husband Roger of Clemmons; grandchildren, Jacob and Christopher Strickland.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington and at other times at the home on Wildlife Circle.
