Kenneth Dozier, age 72, of Helen Young Drive, Linwood died Friday morning at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel, with Rev. Bud Owens officiating.
Kenneth was born in Corbin, Kentucky, October 10, 1934 to Clarence Dozier and Odie
Sevier Dozier. He was retired owner and operator of Dozier’s Transmission Service and
had served in the United States National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jobbie Dozier.
Surviving are: Wife; Patsy Haley Dozier of the home, Daughters; Sarah Carmen Dozier of Advance, Rosemary Keller of Kingsman, Indiana, Cathy Roberta Dozier of Mt. Airy, Cherryl Jo Dozier of Winston Salem, Melody Ann Flynn of Frankfort, Indiana, Leslie Dawn Reen of Bethesda, MD, and Lisa Marie Terry of Linwood, Sons; Kenneth Earl Dozier of Elkin, Max Dewayne Dozier, Marty Joe Dozier, and Gabriel Lynn Burns all of Winston Salem and James Christopher Burns of Lexington, 24 Grandchildren and 24 Great Grandchildren, Brothers; James Earl Dozier, Darwin Dozier and Doyle Dozier all of Indianapolis, IN, Sisters Della Mae Mattox, Patricia Ann Parker and Billie Jean Willie all of Indianapolis, IN
The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 12:30 until 2:00 pm Monday prior to the service.
