Kenneth "Durango" Mckinnish

Kenneth Izac "Durango" McKinnish, 79, of Lexington passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at Alston Brook Nursing Home in Lexington.

A graveside service will be held at 11am Friday, August 23 ^rd at Lexington City Cemetery officiated by Dr. Ray Howell, III.  There will be no visitation.

Durango was born in Davidson County on February 7, 1940 to Clifford Earl McKinnish and Helen Elizabeth Everhart McKinnish.  He previously worked as a custodian for Lexington Furniture Industries.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Laura Annette Duffey McKinnish.

Surviving are a brother, Robert McKinnish, of Linwood, NC; two nieces, Cynthia Wright (James) and Christie Wilson; nephew, David McKinnish; and three grand-nieces, Amber and Sara Wright and Lauren Beck.

Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington is serving the McKinnish family.
